DC1: Emergence of selection in nucleopeptide replication networks

Supervisor: Prof. Gonen Ashkenasy

Background

I started my academic journey at Goa University where I conducted research in Dr. Rohan K. Kunkalekar’s lab, studying the applications of Doped ZnO nanoparticles. This research experience inspired me to enroll in a Master’s program at VIT University, where I conducted research in organometallics and catalysis under the supervision of Dr. Thriumanavelan Gandhi, gaining practical experience sophisticated instruments and experimental techniques.

In 2021-2022, I attended IQCC Spain and conducted research with Prof. Miquel Costas and Prof. Xavi Ribas in the field of Supramolecular chemistry and asymmetric catalysis projects. While at IQCC, I gained knowledge in a variety of Spectroscopy techniques, purification methods, and how to handle chemical reactions in an inert atmosphere.

While conducting my studies at In DarChemDN, I am optimistic about discovering a setting that encourages my interest for scientific investigation and provides chances for career development and teamwork in pushing the boundaries of research and technology in chemistry. I am looking forward with enthusiasm to joining the workshops, seminars, and training sessions that will assist me in improving my scientific mindset.
